My mother-in-law sent us a care package from back home today. In the box of assorted snacks, and home made cookies, she included a roll of toilet paper, and a thing of hand soap. Odd that sending people toilet paper now seems almost normal now.
The best part was she printed out memes, and faces, for everything and stuck them to the individual items. Our Cheez-its now have a big goofy smile on them, it’s great.
It’s been almost two weeks since I’ve been to the store so I don’t even know if they have any at ours. I hope you are able to find the things you need right now.
Continuing on my entertainment for those stuck inside (which is most of us right now) I have two more short stories for free, and an anthology.
The Ring and The Camera: Two short stories revolving around cursed items like a Tales from the Crypt style.
Stars End: a glimpse into a possible future, and the way technology might change relationships.
Stay safe out there my friends.
I always loved stories about the things that go bump in the night. That gurgling noise, or the tapping in the darkness that your imagination makes much worse than reality.
This weekend I have two short stories out for free. Both with that spooky feel.
Footprints: The demons inside are sometimes worse than those outside.
The Camera: This cursed item has blood in its gears. A Tales from the Crypt style short.
And if you love fantasy adventure, and or RPG games, don’t forget to check out The Hub World series.
It’s time for a HUGE give away. If you go HERE you can download more than fifty free books from various scifi, fantasy, and horror authors. There are even a few super hero books, and a couple YA books.
My book, Witch’s Sacrifice, is also available for free. Get it now, this is probably one of the few times I will offer it for free.
You can’t go wrong just by checking it out. Plus you can sign up for their roflcopter and try to win a free kindle. More free stuff! I know, it’s amazing!
This weekend I did a freebie giveaway using the KDP select program for Twilight Tales. It went amazing!
It is still free for a few more hours but I thought I’d give a run down of how it went.
I tried KDP a shortly after I started to publish. I had several books up at the time, but very few reviews, and only managed to get 200 downloads for the entire weekend. No reviews. No extra sales that I know of.
This time I managed to use Author Marketing Club to my advantage
and posted Twilight Tales to every freebie site I could. Well, I at least submitted it. I know at least one of them actually ran it, no idea if others did. Most of them do not tell you whether or not they run your book. I had to go snoop in order to find the one that did. I do not think anyone ran an advert for my book the first time.
This time I gave away more than 1000 books.
The results of all the give always: ranking #1 in two categories. I managed a screen capture of the two. In the third category it ranked as high as #2, but I did not manage to get a screen shot of that.
Only time will tell if this gives me any actual sales to books, or reviews. Right now all I got was a little visibility in a couple sub genre charts. The nicest one I saw was #10 on the Horror page. Very visible for anyone looking for Horror. Did it make a difference? Not sure yet, but I will definitely let you know in a few weeks.
Also, if you’d like to get Twilight Tales it is still free until midnight.

Honestly, the toughest part about becoming a writer is just getting people to notice you. So if you could download the book, take a look, and leave a review that would be INCREDIBLY helpful, and you would have my sincere thanks.
