What if you could enter a virtual world and live out the life of an adventurer? Capture the bandits, save the elf, and collect all the gold. And never question the AI.
Jupiter finally got his hands on the newest immersive virtual reality system, and he’s logging into Yevelia along with his best friend, Cas. Yevelia has everything he wanted; magic, monsters, and a chance to level up. Everything he doesn’t have offline.
But there’s something odd about the first quest, and the NPC’s. And why did the developers include a plague that is slowly spreading across the game?
Something’s wrong with Yevelia, and the AI seems determined to use Jupiter to right the wrong.
Jupiter and Cas have slain the wererat, and freed the inhabitants of Vigil from the deadly plague. Now it’s time to get a little more serious about exploring the new world, leveling up, and finding some loot.
There are bandits to slay, and creatures to hunt. And what is lurking out in the ocean?
Follow Jupiter and Cas on a new adventure across the sprawling world of Yevelia.
Ever since that fateful day Jupiter was left standing alone on the beach, he has been avoiding the virtual world. Staying away hasn’t been easy. When reality is nothing but a cell and powdered food, how could he resist the siren call of freedom and a chance to make amends with his best friend?
In order to find Cas, Jupiter must travel to The Hub, the center of all virtual worlds. There are new opportunities, new people, and new AI’s just dying to meet him. If he can manage to find Cas then maybe they can find out just how far the rabbit hole goes, and just what troubles are waiting for them below the surface.
Side Quest – Vertigo
Trading Card Games aren’t quiet the same in the virtual world.
Cas decided she needed to take some time for herself. No following her best friend, Jupiter, on whatever hair brained idea he had. No jumping into danger in a fantasy virtual world. She wants to get back to basics. And what’s more basic than a trading card game?
But when you move a card game into virtual space there are some pretty big changes. Add in the natural greed of humanity and there might really be something to this Virtual Reality Trading Card Game.
Welcome to Vertigo.
